Avatar easily topped two new competitors in order to finish in first place for the seventh weekend in a row. According to studio weekend estimates, the sci-fi epic added $30 million domestically, which pushes its cume at home to nearly $594.5 million. The 20th Century Fox release will pass Titanic's $600.8 million unadjusted domestic take during the coming week.
